Bale (Valle in Italian) is a small place in Istria with 1000 inhabitants. The new Sports Hall which is next to the old school, and the second largest building after the church will be used also for various social gatherings.
The size of the building has been defined by the size of a basketball court and amended by additional installations in the gallery: a fitness center and sauna, while the locker room is planned as an annex to the school
The traditional dry-stone of the place has been used as a template for all surfaces, and small stone traditionally used in the construction of huts, called Kazuno, structural example of the archetype has been used as the basic structural pattern.
